February 18, 2013 — Join Vanity Theatre Company on March 15 for a staged reading of Enter the Pigman by John Van Slyke. Erik Ebarp, VTC artistic director, directs Beth Monhollen, James Gallagher, and Tiffany Vanlandingham in Van Slyke’s new dark comedy about dark figures, depression treatment, and wearing snouts.

Javen is a young, intelligent depressive. When an enterprising gent known only as the Pigman alleviates Javen’s anxiety, she is sold with his innovative methods. But when the Dark Figure she’s dealing with proves to be a bigger problem, the Pigman suggests methods far more severe.
